Phantom-T

  • $349.95

Even with all this technology Rocky Mountain Radar was able to keep the retail price at $349.95. The new Phantom-T incorporates a Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) that blocks any internal signals from leaking out the antenna. While this technology was attempted before it was very expensive and unreliable. the new Phantom-T  eliminates X band detection thus virtually eliminating detection of all door openers that have been the bane of radar detectors. The MMIC also reduced leakage to 1/1,000,000 (one millionth) of previous levels making the unit totally undetectable with little chance of the police obtaining a bonus, the sensitivity is increased on K and Ka. Bands extending the range to as far as 5 miles, while eliminating false alarms. While we were redesigning we added a larger scrambler antenna for twice the power and additional laser scrambling LED's for 50% MORE POWER.

I have bought many of your radar detectors and referred many others. You are the greatest and they work spot on every time...thank you for a great product

I've used several RMR radar dectors and have been satisfied with their performance. Last year (2013) I purchased the Phantom T. I couldn't believe the outstanding radar protection you receive from this unit, it's unbelievable. Recently we took a long road trip (to the Rocky Mountains) and the unit saved our butt many times.

Have been using RMR products for 10 years.
This unit, while it works as advertised, has some issues.
The audio doesn't go up as high as other RMR units that I've had.
Also the display doesn't dim enough. It's too bright for night driving in West Texas.
Im still using it, but I like my RMR-450 unit better

I've Had most every Dectector scrambler you've made since 1989 , I' ve got a RMR 450C scrambler now which i've had for about 5 years, its great and works great still. Might have to upgrade to the newer unit to see how much better it is !! R.M.R is awesome and by far the best units on the market everyone should have one !!
